Who we are

Akai is a service of Akaion S.r.l., an Italian company. By using Akai you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

What we give you

A planner that collects your things, proposes them to you one at a time and rebuilds the plan when your day changes. The base plan is free and has no expiry. Paid plans add the features listed on the pricing page.

Your account

You need a valid email address and must be at least sixteen years old. Your credentials are yours and you are responsible for what happens with your account. If you notice an access you did not make, write to us immediately.

What we ask you not to do

• Do not use Akai for unlawful activities or to upload content you do not have the right to upload.
• Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, or to extract other people’s data.
• Do not resell the service without a written agreement with us.

Kai and its limits

Kai proposes, reorders and recalculates using automated models. It can make mistakes: misinterpret a message, put something at the wrong time, assign an icon that doesn’t fit. Proposals remain proposals, and the decisions are yours. Akai is not a medical device and does not replace therapy, a diagnosis or medical advice. Do not use it as your only reminder system for medication, legal deadlines or obligations that cannot be missed.

Your content stays yours

What you upload remains your property. You grant us only the technical permission needed to host it, process it and show it to you — that is, to make it work. We do not use it to train models intended for others.

Payments and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at the time of purchase. You can cancel whenever you want: the service remains active until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. Purchases made through the Apple and Google stores are also subject to those stores’ refund rules. If you are a consumer you have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal under the law.

Interruptions

We do our best to keep Akai always reachable, but the service is provided “as is” and there may be interruptions for maintenance or for causes beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months.

Termination

You can delete your account from the app at any time. We may suspend an account that violates these terms, giving notice where it is possible to do so.

If these terms change

Material changes are communicated with at least thirty days’ notice. If you do not accept them, you can close your account before they take effect.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile remain competent, as provided by law.
